High-quality materials require high care! Follow our tips to ensure your fabrics stay soft and beautiful for years to come!
All of our products have been tested to ensure color fixation. However, natural dyes compared to synthetic dyes tend to fade over time, so follow our washing instructions so you can enjoy your product for years to come.
We assure you that your product will not run ink if you wash it carefully by hand in cold water and with a neutral PH detergent. (a little shampoo is enough!). A little colored water can come out of your product the first few washes, especially fabrics with indigo. This is completely normal! Don't worry, it won't fade and won't stain your other clothes.
Air dry or tumble dry at low temperature.
Try to avoid contact with direct sunlight. The sun damages colors very quickly. Avoid that contact and it will help the colors not easily fade.
Since our products are made by hand, small alterations may exist in the colors and textures of each product. These are details that we love and give each product a unique character!
Fique is a rough natural fiber that requires little maintenance. To wash it, just use a damp cloth with little soap and rub it directly. Remove the soap with a damp cloth and then dry with a dry cloth. Make sure the fibers are not too wet before laying them out to air dry. This is essential to avoid the accumulation of mold. That's! These items are durable and the colors do not fade as quickly as with other fibers. It is still recommended to avoid direct sunlight for long-lasting vivid colors.
